Golden Glow Smoothie
This is my favourite smoothie. Itβs a bit of a change from your regular berry or green smoothies. I love the flavour of turmeric, also a great flu fighting recipe !
Time: 5 minutes
Quantity: 2 glasses
Ingredients:
2 bananas
Handful frozen mango chunks
150ml milk of choice (I use almond milk)
150ml water
2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons nut butter
Method:
Blend all ingredients together until smooth in a blender or Nutribullet, adding ice is optional, and drink immediately.
Variations: Add an orange or fresh ginger for some extra immune boosting abilities
