Golden Glow Smoothie

This is my favourite smoothie. It’s a bit of a change from your regular berry or green smoothies. I love the flavour of turmeric, also a great flu fighting recipe !

Time: 5 minutes

Quantity: 2 glasses

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas

  • Handful frozen mango chunks

  • 150ml milk of choice (I use almond milk)

  • 150ml water

  • 2 teaspoon ground turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons nut butter 

Method: 

  1. Blend all ingredients together until smooth in a blender or Nutribullet, adding ice is optional, and drink immediately.

  2. Variations: Add an orange or fresh ginger for some extra immune boosting abilities
