Creamy Hummus (Garlic Free)

Hummus (with no garlic), I use nutritional yeast instead of garlic, for those that are sensitive to garlic. You can buy it in any health store near you (& win win it’s a nutritional alternative too!) 

Time: 15 minutes

Quantity: Serves 4-5

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpea (use the chickpea water too)

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • 3 tbsp tahini (light )

  • 1/2 lemon squeezed

  • 1 large tbsp of nutritional yeast

  • Drizzle of olive oil on top

  • Garnish: Parsley & black pepper.  


Method: 

  1. Place all the ingredients into a food processor or blender .

  2. Blend until silky smooth (1-2 mins)

  3. Pour the hummus into a bowl and drizzle with a little olive oil, sprinkle of black pepper and parsley.

  4. Enjoy with carrot or cucumber crudities , crackers or on sourdough - you name it !

  5. Ps. *Double the serving for a party of 8-10ppl. In this picture I did a double serve x
